Storm Evans is a full-service practice support consultant who has broad experience in the secretarial and financial aspects of law firm management.  In order to help her clients accomplish their goal, Storm provides software alternatives and supports a variety of software to meet many different needs.

Analysis.  Through her experience in working with law offices and other small businesses, Storm has encountered many of the challenges that people turn to computer software or training to resolve.  She listens to what you and your staff believe are the concerns and helps you understand what software ad what changes in procedures can help you be more effective and more efficient.

Documentation.  The manuals that come with your software, whether in print or in the form of help files, seldom provide your firm with answers to all your questions.  If needed, Storm will document the work that she does for you and write complete documentation for your system and internal procedures.

Customization. In order to get the greatest value from your software, some customization is needed.  The customization may be as routine as modifying a tool bar or as complex as developing a complete set of fields and screens for your practice management software. 

Installation. Storm will install software on the server and on workstations as needed or she will show your staff or network support company how to do it.

Integration. Storm will work with you to integrate the software that you have so that information in one software package is transferred to or synchronized with another.  One of Storm’s goals for her clients is that they never have to record the same information twice.

Training. Storm’s has both education and experience as a teacher, and she has produced training programs for more than 25 years.  Storm understands that people learn in different ways and that each office is different.  She takes her experience and what she hears from you to determine the best training solution for you.

Technical Support.   In addition to technical support for software, Storm records the customization and other concerns that your firm has been through and will use that information along with her understanding of the technical issues to help you get to a quick resolution, for of problems.  Storm can use an interactive Internet connection to resolve problems with your staff or will come to your site if needed.

Document Assembly Development.  The employment of document assembly can greatly improve productivity in your office by letting you generate customized documents in minutes rather than in hours, eliminating error-prone practices like cut-and-paste and search-and-replace and standardizing your documents to ensure that important clauses are included and irrelevant or contradictory provisions are removed.  In addition, document assembly can merge information from your practice management system so that you do not need to type information a second time.

Billing. Storm works with four different billing programs and available to provide short-term or long-term billing production services for your firm with the software that she supports.   These services are usually a combination of on-site and Internet support.
